In a series of workshops on the topic Sustainable heat supply by means of heat pumps: application - quality assurance - neighbourhood supply in April and May 2023, various research projects and their results will be presented. On May 10th, the results of the QEWSplus project will be presented and discussed with the audience.

At the annual congress this year there will be a presentation on subproject 4.2 with the title Fast calculation methods for borehole heat exchanger fields in groundwater flow.

European Geothermal Congress (EGC)

The EGC is organised every three years by EGEC, the European geothermal industry association, and is the largest geothermal event in Europe. With a combination of events for the entire geothermal sector, EGC is a unique opportunity for stakeholders from all areas of the sector, whether academia, industry, finance, policy or society, to come together and learn to find new ways to progress. This year there is a presentation on Subproject 1 entitled Advanced thermal and geophysical test methods of shallow geothermal systems.

On the yearly GeoTHERM Congress there will be a talk to Subproject 1.3 entitled Thermophysical parameters of backfill materials for borehole heat exchangers within the framework of the joint project QEWSplus.
