Der Geothermiekongress 2023

The German Geothermal Energy Association organises this yearly congress with an expanded, practice-oriented programme. This year there will be 2 talks presenting results of the QEWSplus research project on 18.10.2023. The topics of the talks are: Energy and power balance method for geothermal collectors as an extension to the VDI-Guideline 4640-2 and Ultrasonic probe for the detection of defects in the grouting of borehole heat exchangers.

European Geothermal Congress (EGC)

18. – 20. October 2022

The EGC is organised every three years by EGEC, the European geothermal industry association, and is the largest geothermal event in Europe. With a combination of events for the entire geothermal sector, EGC is a unique opportunity for stakeholders from all areas of the sector, whether academia, industry, finance, policy or society, to come together and learn to find new ways to progress. This year there is a presentation on Subproject 1 entitled Advanced thermal and geophysical test methods of shallow geothermal systems.
