The important and controversially discussed problem of system permeability of borehole heat exchangers urgently needs to be better understood. Within the framework of this subproject, the basis for validated and standardised measurements of the system permeability is laid, which in future will be carried out in testing laboratories or by certification bodies. In addition, the results are a significant contribution to the further development and revision of the german VDI 4640 guideline.
- Further detailed investigations of the hydraulic permeability on several borehole heat exchanger system samples
- Detailed investigations of the temperature influence on the system permeability
- Investigation of different sample geometries for the development of a standardised test method for the determination of system permeabilities
